Recording artists Sonicflood, known as the “Fathers of Modern Worship Music” will headline the church concerts. Since releasing their first album in 1999, Sonicflood has sold over 1.5 million records, been nominated for a Grammy award and won the Dove Award for Praise & Worship Album of the Year. The band has also been deeply involved in charity and mission work throughout the world, including work with the International Mission Board and Compassion International. The faith concerts are the latest in a flurry of activity in the early primary states by ONE Vote ’08 to raise awareness and visibility of the fight against extreme poverty and AIDS among primary voters and throughout the 2008 election.

The faith concerts also come a week before the first-ever ONE Sabbath, a faith initiative by ONE to give local churches the tools to put their faith into action for the world’s poorest people. Congregations across America have been signing up at www.one.org/faith to participate in ONE Sabbath, which will take place over the weekend of November 23, 2007.
